Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 20-week assignment in Midland, Texas. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages, developing individualized plans and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid SLP license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluations and goals.
• Document progress in the EMR with detailed notes.
• Educate patients and families on strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards during therapy.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development activities.
• Perform other duties within the scope of practice.
