The Learning Experience - East Brunswick is hiring an Early Childhood Teacher for our 2-year-old classroom in East Brunswick, NJ. The role emphasizes nurturing guidance, structured play, and skill-building in a caring environment.

You're expected to support routines, implement the LEAP curriculum, and collaborate with a team while maintaining documentation and family communication. Full-time schedule, competitive pay, and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with toddlers/2-year-olds a plus.
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus.
• Patient, nurturing, dependable, energetic.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to meet New Jersey childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines and learning experiences for 2-year-olds.
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
• Engage children through art, music, movement, sensory play, stories, and hands-on activities.
• Support language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development.
• Encourage independence and positive peer interactions.
• Assist with meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, outdoor play, and transitions.
• Maintain consistent classroom routines and positive guidance.
• Observe development and maintain required classroom documentation.
• Build relationships and communicate with families.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership.
• Follow New Jersey licensing, health, and safety requirements.
