Job summary

Responsibilities include implementing age-appropriate activities, supervising children, assisting with potty training, and keeping a clean classroom. CPR/First Aid certification is required or obtainable within 30 days, with a background check as part of Virginia

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with toddlers in licensed childcare preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stay active throughout the day.
• Current CPR/First Aid or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Background check and fingerprinting per Virginia licensing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing daily activities and toddler-friendly lessons.
• Supervise children during indoor/outdoor activities and meals.
• Support potty training and personal hygiene routines.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary classroom per health standards.
• Observe and document progress; communicate milestones to parents.
