Job summary

The Hearst Journalism Fellowship invites recent graduates and early-career journalists to a two-year, full-time program with rotations across our leading newspapers, including the San Francisco Chronicle, Houston Chronicle, San Antonio Express-News, Albany Times Union, and Hearst publications in Connecticut.

You will work with award-winning editors and newsroom leaders, gaining hands-on experience in digital reporting, data storytelling, and audience engagement while developing a long-term

Qualifications

Recent grads or early-career journalists
Background or demonstrated interest in journalism
Willingness to relocate and cover multiple cities
Eagerness to learn, create, and lead in a modern newsroom

Responsibilities

Two immersive, 12-month rotations at Hearst newspapers
Work with Pulitzer-winning journalists and newsroom leaders
Receive hands-on mentoring from seasoned editors
Engage in digital reporting, investigative journalism, and audience engagement
