Job summary

Williamson Central School District is seeking a part-time dishwasher for the Elementary School, starting ASAP. The role runs 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM, four hours daily, in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include cleaning dishes, maintaining the workspace, restocking supplies, assisting with food prep and setup, and ensuring health and safety procedures are followed. A HS diploma is often preferred, with minimal experience acceptable for entry-level roles.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, potentially hot and damp environment.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and work as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift/transport items (e.g., 30 lbs) and stand for long periods.

1. Dishwashing & Sanitation:Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, trays, glassware, flatware, and pots/pans using commercial dishwashing machineand/or 3-bay sink.
2. Area Maintenance:Keep the dishwashing area, floors, walls, and equipment clean, dry, and organized, including sweeping and mopping.
3. Stocking & Storage:Properly put away and restock clean items in theirdesignated spot.
4. Kitchen Support:Assist other food service staff with food prep, setting up/breaking down stations, and handling food and/or supply deliveries.
5. Safety & Compliance:Follow all established health, safety, and sanitation procedures, reporting any issues or violations.
