Job description

We are hiring Press Operators for our printing plant team in Eagan, Minnesota. As a #2 Press Operator, you will be responsible for working as a Mid-Level Operator on our Core Publishing Solutions team. You will operate state-of-the-art offset and digital web presses. This role offers a $2,500 signing bonus after 90 days and increased shift differential for third shift to $5 per hour.

Hours of Work – Eagan, Minnesota

• 3rd shift – 10:30 pm – 6:30 am
• Occasional overtime up to 4 hours per day and occasional weekend shifts

About the Role:

• Reviewing job specifications for material and set-up requirements
• Performing or delegating set-up tasks
• Monitoring equipment and product quality during production
• Troubleshooting equipment and product issues
• Effective communication during shift and hand-offs
• Evaluating mechanical conditions and performing preventive maintenance
• Using workflow applications to manage files
• Documenting activities accurately in relevant systems
• Marking, verifying, and tagging loads for inventory accuracy
• Providing work direction to team members
• Participating in safety programs and contributing to a safe work culture
• Training team members as needed
• Meeting quality and productivity standards
• Maintaining housekeeping procedures
• Participating in project teams and process improvements
• Covering for other operators as needed

About You:

You're a good fit if you have:

• A High School Diploma/GED or higher; vocational/technical degree preferred
• Experience leading and training others
• Experience with industrial production machinery
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Understanding of Lean and continuous improvement
• Ability to read measurement tools and interpret documents
• Physical ability to lift and move weights as specified
• Physical stamina for standing, walking, and other movements

Our pay range for this role in the US is $21 - $38 per hour, with potential for annual bonuses based on performance. Base pay considers experience, skills, and internal equity. We offer a total rewards package including benefits and wellbeing programs.
