Job Description

We are hiring a Pre-Press Operator for our printing plant team in Eagan, Minnesota. As a #2 Pre-Press Operator, you will be responsible for working as a Mid-Level Operator on our Core Publishing Solutions team. You will operate state-of-the-art plate setters and cover finishing equipment. This role offers a $2,500 signing bonus after 90 days.

Hours of Work – Eagan, Minnesota

• 2nd shift – 2:30 pm – 10:30 pm
• Occasional overtime up to 4 hours per day and weekend shifts

About the Role

Responsibilities include ensuring smooth operation of the production line, facilitating Tier 1 meetings and Gemba Walk discussions to improve processes, motivating team members, and fostering a team environment.

About You

• High School Diploma/GED or higher; vocational/technical degree preferred
• Experience leading and training others in an industrial setting
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Lean and continuous improvement
• Good communication skills for sharing information across shifts and departments
• Proven success as a trainer
• Ability to operate multiple pieces of equipment
• Experience with 1-2 Color Web Offset and 4-Color Sheetfed Offset presses
• Competent with measurement tools and interpreting technical documents
• Physical ability to lift and move weights as specified

Candidates must pass a background check and drug test.

Pay range for US locations is $21 - $38 per hour, with potential bonuses. Compensation is based on experience and internal equity.
