Job summary

Priority Management Group is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide for Brush Country Nursing and Rehabilitation in Austin, TX. You will provide compassionate direct care to residents, assist with activities of daily living, and help ensure safety and comfort in a residential care setting.

This role requires a current Nurse Aide certification in Texas, a high school diploma or GED, and clear communication in English.

Qualifications

• Must have current Nurse Aide certification and be in good standing with the Texas Nurse Aide Registry.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living to promote independence and dignity.
• Assure resident safety.
• Lift, move and transfer residents as required.
• Bathe, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, dress appropriately and provide nail care.
• Answer call lights promptly and assist with feeding when needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living in order to promote resident independence and dignity.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• To assure resident safety.
• Bathe, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, dress appropriately, nail care of any residents assigned
• Follow resident assignment schedule as made out by the charge nurse
• Lift, move and transfer residents as required
• Answer call lights in a timely manner
• Assist or feed residents
• Keep resident clean and dry, toileting or providing incontinent care
• Provide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents
• Other duties as assigned
