Job summary

Orchard Park Central School District is seeking a full-time General Mechanic for 12 months with an evening schedule (4:00 pm – 12:00 am, Tuesday to Saturday) in the Maintenance Department. The role requires elementary education and at least three years of skilled-trades experience (plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, masonry, bricklaying, electrical or machinist work, or roofing).

Starting ASAP with an hourly rate of $23.22 under the OPSRPA bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• Elementary education and at least three (3) years experience as a workman in one of the skilled trades, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, masonry, bricklaying, electrical or machinist work or roofing.
• Experience in general maintenance tasks in a PreK-12 setting and ability to perform repairs, cleaning, grounds work and snow removal.
