Job summary

Stepping Stones Academy Incorporated is seeking full-time lead and assistant teachers. Hiring Immediately! Monday-Friday, no weekends. Paid holidays.

Our family-run center serves children from 6 weeks to 12 years, and we provide training if you have no experience. Join a warm, collaborative team dedicated to supporting young learners on their educational journey. You will collaborate with lead teachers to plan lessons, maintain a safe classroom, document progress, and communicate with parents.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Must be 21 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Work with Lead Teachers to create lesson plans.
• Create and maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Document the children's developmental progress by doing assessments.
• Maintain parent/guardian communication throughout the school day.
• Play and foster learning through hands-on activities in the classroom.

Assistant Teacher Responsibilities

• Work with Lead Teachers to create lesson plans.
• Create and maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Document the children's developmental progress by doing assessments.
• Maintain parent/guardian communication throughout the school day.
• Play! We believe that children learn best by playing, and we want our teachers to enjoy being in the classroom and molding the minds of future generations.

Compensation

$13.00 per hour (pay increase for education and experience).
