Job Description

We currently have an opening for a Shipping Clerk in our warehouse, focusing on international shipping from an administrative perspective within the shipping office. This is a 1st shift position, with the following highlights:

  1. The role will be approximately 75% office-based and 25% shop floor.
  2. Computer skills are essential.
  3. Basic to intermediate knowledge of MS Excel is preferred.
  4. Responsibilities include:
    1. Updating daily inventory for all international shipping orders, reviewing packages in the international shipping area, and updating the shared spreadsheet.
    2. Auditing daily shipping documents for accuracy according to work instructions.
    3. Assisting in creating shipping paperwork.
    4. Communicating via email with internal and external customers.
    5. Assisting the team with booking freight with freight forwarders.
  5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
  6. This role involves frequent communication with external customers, so maintaining a professional image is essential.
  7. Bilingual abilities are a plus.
