1st Shift Yard Spotter/Warehouse Material Handler

Louisa Foods is seeking a qualified Yard Spotter / Warehouse Material Handler-Forklift Operator. The shift hours are 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays. Starting wage is $24.00 per hour, with potential increases at 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year. After 1 year, employees are eligible for our Semi-Annual Bonus Program.

Responsibilities include:

• Must have CDL A license and a clean driving record.
• Safely move trailers to/from loading docks and designated parking areas.
• Perform safety checks and inspections according to DOT regulations.
• Ensure all equipment and freight are secured and locked at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the tractor and loading dock areas.
• Secure equipment and complete paperwork at shift end.
• Report safety issues and repairs immediately.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• Handle receiving, storage, handling, and shipping of products and ingredients.
• Supply materials to the Production Department.
• Maintain neat storage areas; may work in dry, cooler, or freezer storage areas.
• Complete paperwork accurately and communicate effectively in English.
• Overtime may be required on short notice.
• Emphasize teamwork and safety awareness.
