Job summary

Express Indy South is seeking a hands-on manufacturing associate to join our wood shop team. The role involves measuring, assembling, and packaging heavy materials, and using power tools such as orbital sanders, drills, and jitterbug sanders.

Candidates should have 1+ year experience in a manufacturing or wood shop, be able to lift 50+ pounds, stand for long periods, and be comfortable working Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with potential OT.

• 1+ year working in manufacturing environment or wood shop experience preferred
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds comfortably
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Experience with wood, cabinet or furniture production is ideal

• Work with power tools such as orbital hand sanders, wood fillers, drill press, impacts and jitterbug hand sander.

• Position will require work with power tools such as orbital hand sanders, wood fillers, drill press, impacts and jitterbug hand sander.


• This role will also be measuring, assembling, and packaging heavy materials.

Pay/Benefits:

• $18.00/hour


• Paid holidays + 1 week paid vacation


• Monthly insurance allowance

Schedule:

8am-5pm, Monday-Friday w/ some possible OT during weekdays.

Requirements:
