Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a part-time 1st Shift Fitter Welder. The role requires familiarity with blueprint reading, layout planning, troubleshooting, and securing parts during fit-up, with final welds and self-inspection to print using precision instruments.

Some fixture-type welding may be required. Typical responsibilities include MIG/TIG welding, set-up, lay-out, tack-up, measuring with micrometers and calipers, and visual weld inspection.

Qualifications

• Experience in welding, manufacturing, or related fields.
• Familiarity with welding tools and procedures.
• Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Welds components with MIG/TIG welding as specified by procedures or diagrams.
• Set-up, lay-out, tack-up, and weld sheet metal for customer parts.
• Perform tack and welds to assemble metal parts.
• Measure dimensions using micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
• Visually inspect welds and verify tolerances with weld gauges.
• Operate finishing tools and read weld symbols and blueprints.
• Work independently and with the team.
