Fortress Nutrition is seeking a strong, hands-on 1st Shift Production Supervisor to join our growing food and beverage operations. This full-time role is on the floor, troubleshooting equipment and driving uptime in a fast-paced environment.

The position covers standard 1st shift hours (6:00 am-6:00 pm, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and requires supervision of production staff, safety compliance, and achievement of daily goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 4+ years leading a team with coaching and performance management.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must read/write/communicate in English.
• Overtime during week and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support production employees during the shift.

Fortress Nutrition is growing, and we're looking for a strong, hands‑on 1st Shift Production Supervisor to join our rapidly growing food & beverage operations! This is a full-time Production Supervisor role for our newly launched weekend shifts! This is a working supervisor role, meaning you'll be actively on the floor alongside your team - troubleshooting equipment, supporting repairs, and driving uptime in a fast‑paced food/beverage manufacturing environment.

Work Schedule:

Standard Hours: 1st Shift (6:00 am-6:00 pm, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)

What You'll Do:

• Supervise and support production employees during the shift.
• Keep the work area safe, clean, and compliant with food safety rules.
• Ensure daily production goals are met while maintaining product quality and food safety.
• Work side‑by‑side with team members to solve problems as they come up.
• Help train, motivate, and grow team members, as well as handle sensitive employee interactions, including disciplinary actions, performance management, corrective action, separations, etc.
• Promote continuous improvement throughout the department and work area.
• Provide daily production reports to the Director of Operations.

What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 4+ years of experience leading, overseeing, and directing a team (including performance management, coaching, training, disciplinaries, interviewing, etc.)
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Ability to quickly and thoughtfully adjust priorities and adapt to changes in production as needed
• Must be able to proficiently read, write, and communicate in English
• Flexibility to work overtime during the week and weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a food/beverage manufacturing environment with understanding of food safety/quality programs such as GMPs, food safety, and sanitation standards
• Previous experience in a blending/batching role, understanding blending principles and basic shop math

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently required to stand; walk; talk or hear; reach above shoulders; use hands to finger, handle, grasp, pinch or touch objects, controls, tools or equipment; kneel, crouch and use foot/feet to operate machinery; bend at the waist; climb or balance
• Frequently required to lift, carry, move, push or pull materials, product or equipment up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, up to ten (10) or more hours in a single shift
