Job summary

GPAC partners with a premier, rapidly growing meat processing organization in Western Ohio to hire a 1st Shift Wastewater Technician. The role offers top-tier compensation in a state-of-the-art facility with modern stainless-steel equipment.

Responsibilities include operating wastewater equipment, collecting samples, adjusting chemical dosing, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years of industrial wastewater treatment experience preferred.
• Valid Wastewater Certification preferred.
• Experience with chemical dosing and pH monitoring is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain wastewater treatment equipment.
• Perform daily inspections and record data.
• Collect samples for testing and adjust chemical dosing.
• Calibrate probes and perform preventive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain logs, records and compliance reports.
• Follow safety protocols and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
