Job summary

AMERICAN FURNITURE RENTAL, INC. is seeking a Warehouse Specialist in Chicago to handle inbound and outbound merchandise during 1st shift, with occasional overtime as needed. Responsibilities include unloading/loading trucks, RF scanning, inventory checks and staging for shipment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, good communication, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Prior warehouse experience is a plus, and safety procedures must be followed at all times.

Qualifications

• Time management with strong organization.
• Available to work overtime, holidays and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Unload/Load trucks using RF scanning device.
• Compare paperwork to NAV inventory system and ensure accuracy.
• Post all collections and deliveries and confirm paperwork.
• Touch up and reclass merchandise in warehouse and handle physical workload.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack and hand trucks following safety guidelines.
