Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for the Fort Worth, TX area on the 1st shift. The role supports warehouse operations, handling incoming/outgoing parts, light assembly, packaging, and maintaining accurate inventory and organized work areas.

You will use hand and power tools, operate pallet jacks, apply labels, box and kit items, and assist with cycle counting and basic QA checks, all while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with shipping and receiving activities in a warehouse or light industrial environment.
• Ability to sort, palletize, and band pallets and operate pallet jacks safely.
• Hands-on experience with production, assembly, and hose assembly tasks.
• Proficiency using hand and power tools for light industrial and mechanical work.
• Ability to check parts, packaging, and finished goods for defects, accuracy, and compliance with standards.
• Comfort using simple production equipment such as tape machines, shrink wrap machines, or foam dispensers.
• Ability to use scanners, simple inventory systems, or label-printing software for basic inventory and labeling tasks.
• Capability to read and follow work instructions and simple blueprints or schematics.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift boxes up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks safely.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain organized work areas in a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Sort incoming parts, palletize boxes, band pallets, and operate pallet jacks to support safe and efficient warehouse flow.
• Perform boxing, taping, foaming, kitting, and light assembly work to meet production and customer requirements.
• Apply labels accurately and consistently to parts, packaging, and finished goods in line with work instructions.
• Use hand and power tools to perform hose assembly and related mechanical tasks as required.
• Stock parts and supplies in designated locations and maintain organized, clearly labeled work and storage areas.
• Assist with basic cycle-counting activities and simple inventory checks to support accurate stock levels.
• Check parts, packaging, and finished goods for defects, accuracy, and compliance with established standards.
• Use scanners, simple inventory systems, and label-printing software to track and document materials and shipments.
• Operate simple production equipment such as tape machines, shrink wrap machines, or foam dispensers safely and correctly.
• Dispose of refuse properly, follow housekeeping standards, and ensure all materials are staged and stored according to safety guidelines.
• Read and follow work instructions, basic blueprints, or schematics as needed for production and assembly tasks.
• Measure materials accurately using tape measures and basic hand tools to support repair and light industrial work.
