Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers is hiring a 1st shift Warehouse Order Selector for our Dry Grocery facility in Houston, TX. You will pick, gather and organize product for local delivery, standing and moving frequently throughout a 6:00 a.m. start shift. This role offers weekly pay, benefits from day 1, and growth opportunities.

Ideal candidates are upbeat, active, and able to follow safety standards while using order sheets or an audio headset to fulfill accurate orders.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Walk or stand up to 6–12 miles per day.
• Safety-conscious with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Picking items using order sheets or an audio headset.
• Stacking items on pallets for wrapping and loading at the bay doors.
• Ensuring accuracy to orders while maintaining safety standards.
• Operating a double walkie-rider or electric pallet jack to move cases.
• Applying selection labels to appropriate cases.
• Informing Supervisor of differences in quantity or description.
• Performing equipment inspections and completing forms.
• Frequent safe lifting of varying case weights during shift.
• Following all material handling equipment safety procedures.
