Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring a 1st Shift Warehouse Order Picker at our Shepherdsville, KY distribution center. Pay starts at $20.90 per hour and includes two pay raises in the first year. The shift runs Sunday through Thursday, with Fridays and Saturdays off, starting at 6:30 AM.

The role involves standing up to 10 hours, lifting up to 100 pounds, and working in a freezer environment. No prior experience is required as we provide dedicated training.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Successfully pass a drug test and a background check.

Position Overview

1st Shift Warehouse Order Picker Distribution Center Address: 342 Gordon Industrial Ave., Shepherdsville, KY

Pay: Starting at $20.90/hour Plus, earn two pay raises in your first year Earn more per hour for speed and efficiency

Work Schedule Sunday - Thursday work week, with Friday and Saturdays off 1st Shift 6:30AM until Finish (shifts vary based on work volume)

Requirements

• You must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed – holidays are very important to our customers
• Must be able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions)
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check
