Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Worker in Manitowoc, WI. The role supports logistics and materials handling, creating purchase orders, coordinating with vendors, and moving parts between locations. You’ll use computer systems to process orders, update status, and prepare items for assembly or shipment. Shift options include 7:00 a.m.

to 3:00 p.m. (first shift) or 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (second shift).

Qualifications

• Experience as a material handler or in a similar warehouse role.
• Proficiency in packing, picking, and material handling.
• Experience with inventory activities, including counting, tracking, and verifying materials.
• Knowledge of shipping processes and requirements for domestic and international shipments.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks safely and effectively.
• Computer skills to navigate material order and shipping systems and update records.
• Strong organizational skills to sort parts and manage palletized materials.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative to resolve issues.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Create purchase order requests and coordinate with vendors on order status and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate materials handling runs between buildings for timely movement of parts.
• Communicate with shipping personnel to understand requirements for domestic and international shipments.
• Use computer systems to process orders, update records, and document status changes.
• Perform warehouse and storage activities, including sorting and organizing palletized material.
• Pull parts from AS/RS and High Rise storage to support service and assembly operations.
• Deliver material to assembly areas in assembly-ready condition for use.
• Prepare parts for shipment including packaging and weighing steps.
• Handle inventory tasks like counting and tracking finished goods.
• Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
• Support shipping by staging and labeling outgoing orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe, lean work environment and escalate issues promptly.
