Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation is hiring for a 1st shift warehouse role in Miamisburg, OH. You will handle receiving, identification, storage, and distribution of materials and ensure accurate documentation.

You will operate material handling equipment, prepare orders for shipment, and support continuous improvement efforts while maintaining 5S standards. Successful candidates have a HS diploma and 2+ years in material handling.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Minimum 2+ years in material handling and powered equipment operation.
• Proficiency with inventory control systems and basic math.
• Ability to obtain a Material Handling License.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage main receiving dock and determine final disposition of products.
• Receipt, identification, verification, storage, and distribution of materials.
• Process and maintain documentation via PC and handwriting records.
• Load, unload, and move materials with appropriate equipment.
• Prepare orders for shipment including labeling and wrapping.
• Support team with problem-solving and department goals.
• Identify process improvements to reduce waste and improve quality.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping standards and assist other functions as needed.
