Midwest Refrigerated Services, Inc. is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Lead in Yorkville, IL. The role involves leading a team on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays from 5:00am to 5:30pm, with a pay rate of $21.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Direct work activities of employees as directed by Supervisor.
• Train employees and oversee performance.
• Provide input on disciplinary issues when needed.
• Maintain exceptional sanitation and food safety practices.
• Ensure fair, professional treatment of all associates.
• Monitor breaks and lunches for compliance.
• Oversee housekeeping activities and workspace organization.
• Cover Supervisors during vacations and PTO.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

1st Shift Warehouse Lead

Full-time Regular Manual Labor Yorkville, IL, US

Schedule: Saturday, Sunday and Monday 5:00am - 5:30pm.

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

Based in Milwaukee, WI, we operate the largest fresh 48 state LTL consolidation pool with more than 100+ trucks, and offer multiple sites with cooler, and air-conditioned storage, distribution and cross-docking services. We operate refrigerated and non-refrigerated warehouses for storage needs but also Value Added Services such as specialty packing, kitting and fulfillment needs. General Accountabilities include:

• Expected to help cover for the Supervisors vacation and PTO
• Other duties as assigned
• Help with CSR functions
• Working together as with management team

Prerequisites:

• High School Diploma ( or equivalent)
• Experience Operating Forklift or Pallet Jacks
• Previous Experience with RF Controlled Inventory Systems
