Winland Foods in Buckner, KY is seeking an Entry Warehouse Team Member for a 1st shift role. Schedule: Mon-Fri, 6:00am-2:30pm, with overtime as required. Location: 1 Quality Place, Buckner, KY 40010. Salary is $22.44 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package.

The position involves safe equipment operation, inventory control, and adherence to strict food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, SQF, FSMA). You will support shipping/receiving and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; forklift certification is a plus.
• Experience operating forklifts, box trucks, and SAP inventory management systems.
• Willingness to obtain required certifications (e.g., forklift, SAP, Train the Trainer).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, wrapping machines, and related equipment.
• Move materials and ensure FIFO rotation; stage materials to prevent downtime.
• Return materials to correct locations and handle recyclable materials per process.
• Deliver daily parcel shipments and participate in inventory counts.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, SQF, FSMA and company food safety policies.
• Assist team members and lead training as needed.
• Use SAP for inventory transfers and reporting; maintain records.
