Job summary

Cardinal Health in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the 1st shift (Mon–Thu, 6:00 am–4:00 pm). You will receive and fulfill orders to ensure patients can access essential pharmaceutical products.

The role offers training on day one, with opportunities to operate multiple material handling devices and advance within a fast-paced team environment. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage and 401k.

Qualifications

• We are open to candidates with little to no warehouse experience. Training provided starting your first day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work in a refrigerated environment (40 degrees Fahrenheit) for a sustained amount of time.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Ability to follow directions and change priorities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with technologies, like computers or point of sale systems, a plus.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders, including picking, quality checks, packing, and shipment preparation.
• Cross-training in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required (order picker, forklift, reach truck, etc.).
