Job summary

Gilder Search Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Associate to support inventory control and seamless warehouse operations. You will ensure inventory accuracy, maintain a safe workspace, and assist with order fulfillment to meet customer needs.

The role involves receiving shipments, unloading, picking, packing, and loading orders, using forklifts or pallet jacks if certified, and complying with OSHA regulations. Training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification or experience operating material-handling equipment.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Unload, sort, label, and store products in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (if certified).
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts.
• Verify shipping documents, packing slips, and inventory transactions.
• Load outgoing shipments safely and efficiently.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Follow company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
• Report inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or operational issues to management.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
