Job summary

Abacus Solution Group is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Associate in Charlotte, NC to support accurate receiving, storage, and shipping operations.

You will unload and inspect shipments, pick and pack orders, operate forklifts if certified, perform cycle counts, and maintain a clean, safe workspace in compliance with OSHA guidelines.

Experience with warehouse management systems and knowledge of shipping procedures are preferred, and overtime may be required to meet customer deadlines.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification or experience operating material-handling equipment.
• Experience with WMS or inventory software.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Unload, sort, label, and store products in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (if certified).
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as required.
• Verify shipping documents, packing slips, and inventory transactions.
• Load outgoing shipments safely and efficiently.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Follow company safety procedures and comply with OSHA regulations.
• Report inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or operational issues to management.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
