Job summary

Simon & Schuster is seeking a 1st Shift Voice Picker in our distribution center to join the Split Case Department. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:00 PM. Responsibilities include voice-picking, scanning labels, and replenishment tasks.

The role requires a high school diploma (preferred), ability to read shipping labels, and the capacity to stand for 8 hours while meeting daily quotas. Over time may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Ability to read and understand shipping labels.
• Ability to understand and follow simple verbal commands.
• Ability to meet daily LM picking quotas.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good listening and basic math skills.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to stand and remain active for up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability and willingness to follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed, including both voluntary and mandatory overtime.
