Job summary

Simon & Schuster is seeking a 1st Shift Voice Picker for our Split Case Department at the distribution center. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:00 PM.

The role involves picking orders with voice-picking equipment, following verbal commands, meeting LM picking quotas, scanning labels with a finger scanner, and supporting replenishment tasks. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Ability to read and understand shipping labels.
• Ability to understand and follow simple verbal commands.
• Ability to meet daily LM picking quotas.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good listening and basic math skills.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand and remain active for up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability and willingness to follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed, including both voluntary and mandatory overtime.
