Job summary

Ultipro is seeking skilled welders for Breath Guard, evaporator and sheet metal fabrication in Wisconsin. You will weld aluminum, steel and stainless steel, fabricate and assemble components, and operate a range of welding and finishing equipment.

Candidates should read blueprints, demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, and work to meet safety, quality and delivery goals. Experience with TIG/MIG welding and sheet metal fabrication is preferred; ability to pass welding qualifications is welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience in TIG welding or MIG welding and welding/fabrication.
• Ability to read blueprints, sketches, measurements, and work instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently on complex assignments and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Weld aluminum, steel, stainless steel and other materials per specs.
• Perform rough and finish grinding, polishing, deburring and metal finishing.
• Fabricate, fit, cut, shape and join components per specifications.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, fixtures and related machinery.
• Identify issues and take corrective action to meet quality standards and production schedules.
