Job summary

Central States, Inc. is seeking a Technician to support manufacturing, production, material handling, and quality activities across multiple production areas.

This role follows standard work practices and safety procedures to ensure efficient operations and high‑quality output. You will help operators, monitor machine output, perform tool‑driven tasks, train new hires, and cross‑train in multiple areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Strong attention to quality and detail in production tasks.

Responsibilities

• Follow plant safety procedures and wear PPE to maintain safety and quality.
• Set up and operate workstations, including loading, catching, trimming, and banding.
• Perform material handling such as loading raw materials and moving products.
• Assist Operators by monitoring output and helping with basic troubleshooting.
• Complete production tasks using hand tools and power tools.
• Keep a clean, organized work area and perform end-of-shift housekeeping.
• Train new hires on equipment, procedures, safety, and quality standards.
• Ensure Quality Control is performed at each work center per QC standards.
• Cross-train and work in multiple areas as needed.
