Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Shift Team Leader to guide production associates in the MagStop Value Stream. This working leader spends about 40% of time in a manufacturing cell, supporting continuous improvement and meeting customer expectations.

The role emphasizes coaching, standard work, safety, and cross-training across teams. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success in this onsite position.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified trainer in the area and a Lean champion.
• High School Diploma or GED required; post‑secondary education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend external supervision/leadership courses as directed, at least annually.
• Occasionally work on alternate shifts for training and priorities.
• Maintain 5S in the work area and update Daily Management boards regularly.
• Coordinate with Supervisors to ensure a safe working environment; retrain as needed.
• Lead the area/shift in addressing quality concerns and train associates.
• Champion standard work and ensure consistent application; identify/solve deviations.
• Assist in training new associates on standard work, rotation, setup, and procedures.
• Coach others to follow policies and procedures; escalate to Supervisor if needed.
• Cross-train across multiple Teams/part numbers.
• Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance for improvements.
• Maintain open communication with associates and Supervision about concerns and ideas.
• Pass on information to previous and next shift Team Leaders.
