Job summary

Precision Medical Technologies is seeking a Production Machinist (Level 1) to operate and maintain CNC and manual machining equipment for high-quality medical components. You will inspect products, adjust machines, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma (vocational machining preferred) and at least 1 year in manufacturing, ideally in medical devices or precision machining.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a vocational program in machining or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a medical device or precision machining industry.
• Experience with operating and maintaining CNC machines and manual machining equipment.
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure product quality and precision.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, materials, and tooling.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic machining issues independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and supervisors.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and machine operation software.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor CNC machines and other production equipment to manufacture medical components according to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make necessary adjustments to machinery as required.
• Collaborate with the production team to optimize workflow and improve production efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
