Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Supply Chain Operations to oversee vital areas that keep our warehouse operations running smoothly in New Jersey. You’ll lead staff, uphold quality and safety, and ensure engagement with customers and partners.

The role follows 1st shift, Monday–Friday, with occasional overtime. You’ll drive process improvements, coordinate maintenance, and ensure records and reports are completed accurately to support a fast, reliable supply chain.

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant work experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and scanner equipment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including overtime, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers, vendors and team members to ensure customer commitments are met
• Demonstrate an understanding of GXO’s quality policies; establish procedures for maintaining quality objectives
• Provide guidance to supervisors with respect to personnel, quality and safety
• Hire, train, develop and appraise staff effectively
• Make recommendations on programs to improve operations
• Handle equipment and coordinate all maintenance needs with the maintenance team
• Ensure records are maintained appropriately and reports are completed in a timely manner
• Adhere to and enforce all safe work practices, ensuring the warehouse is compliant with OSHA and other standards
