Job summary

Daifuku Intralogistics America Corporation in Hobart, IN is seeking a 1st Shift Structural Paint Prepper to load/unload parts from a continuous line and maintain a safe, organized work area.

You will assist the team lead to sustain high productivity, identify parts on work orders, and ensure compliance with Daifuku's QMS policies while supporting continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience
• Ability to read and follow work orders and numerical instructions
• Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented
• Team orientation
• Crane operation experience preferred but not required
• Forklift operation experience preferred but not required
• Big Joe operation experience preferred but not required
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

Responsibilities

• Load and/or unload parts from a continuous line while maintaining an organized and safe work area
• Assisting team lead as required to maintain a high level of team productivity and efficiency
• Selecting proper hanging devices
• Identifying parts related to work orders
• Loading/unloading parts on powder coat line
• Employees are responsible for comply with all requirements of Daifuku's QMS policies and procedures
• Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction
