Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Nashville, TN seeks an experienced Screw Machine Tool Setter on 1st shift. You will operate Acme/Davenport screw machines, perform setups, and ensure parts meet tolerances. Overtime opportunities may arise on weekends or extra shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and setting up screw machines (Acme/Davenport or similar).
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret tolerances.
• Proficient in shop math and tool geometry.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines to meet specifications and first article checks.
• Perform setup of fixtures and cutting tools for production runs.
• Conduct in-process inspections and document results.
• Adjust offsets and tools to maintain quality and tolerances.
• Meet production demands and work across multiple machines.
