Job description

Shift 1: Monday – Friday: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM

Specific Accountabilities

• Measure and cut material with a mechanical saw.
• Ability to identify structural steel and alloy.
• Read and understand blueprints and/or drawings.
• Ability to lift and move materials to and from racks to equipment.
• Unloading products received and loading finished products for delivery.
• Other assigned work as required.

Working Conditions

• This position requires shop work. When working in the shop, one must exercise caution as this environment presents many naturally occurring and potentially worker-produced hazards. Safety policies must always be adhered to. Appropriate personal protective equipment (i.e., safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and others) must always be worn where required.
• It is very important that the incumbent of this position can work and communicate with prudence, while effectively managing time, completing tasks, and working safely.
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Completion of college/vocational or technical training preferred.
