Job summary

Fortress Nutrition, LLC is seeking a reliable Sanitation / Packaging Line Operator to support our Dry Powder operations. This dual-role position focuses on sanitation duties between runs and assisting packaging line operations during production.

You'll ensure food safety, prevent cross-contamination, and keep equipment and work areas clean and ready for the next run, while packaging products accurately and in compliance with quality specs before shipments.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in an industrial sanitation role, including cleaning equipment/machinery after production runs.
• Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper use of cleaning chemicals on food-grade equipment to prevent contamination.
• Knowledge of GMPs, food safety standards, and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to work overtime/weekends as needed.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Sanitation duties following production runs on dry powder blending and packaging equipment.
• Set up, operate, and maintain packaging equipment (filler, sealer, x-ray, metal detector, scale, coder, etc.).
• Perform quality checks and documentation following GDPs.
• Follow safety procedures, GMPs, and sanitation requirements at all times.
• Communicate production concerns to leadership promptly for resolution.
