Job summary

Foster Poultry Farms is hiring for a Sanitation (General Labor) position on the 1st shift in Demopolis, AL. The role encompasses various entry-level tasks including fryer grading, packing, sanitation, product inspection, stacking, and supply attendant duties in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualified applicants read and write English, can stand for up to 10 hours, and must pass background checks and drug screening. HS diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and E-verify.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate with all levels including management.

Responsibilities

• Observe stick bar assemblies as they rotate through the fryer insertion process.
• Count broken sticks with a handheld counter.
• Notify the Fryer Operator when broken sticks are observed.
• Move and separate product to maintain line flow and safety.
• Assist with sanitation and packaging duties as needed.
• Operate pallet jack to move cases and pallets.
