Job summary

Aapstaff in Carol Stream, IL is seeking a Production Machine Operator to support our food production line. This full-time position requires safe operation, pre/post inspection, and adherence to GMP standards; you will also perform required paperwork and assist with audits.

Daily responsibilities include assembling and operating equipment per company procedures, maintaining housekeeping, and reporting safety concerns. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1 year experience in food production.
• Applicable Equipment Training.
• Must be able to lift 50+lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform a pre-operation inspection of the equipment.
• Assemble equipment according to the Company's procedures.
• Operate equipment according to the Company's procedures and safety guidelines.
• Disassemble the equipment according to the Company's procedures.
• Perform a post-operation inspection of the equipment.
• Complete all required paperwork.
• Advocate and work safely and follow all safety rules.
• Maintain good housekeeping and follow all GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Report all safety concerns.
• Perform all duties necessary to meet third party audit requirements as well as other standards prioritized by the company, to include SQF, HACCP, FSMA, USDA, FDA, etc.
• Utilize tools and equipment required for each task, including hand trucks, or other lifts.
