Hayden Valley Foods is seeking a dependable Machine Operator – Roaster for the 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 5:45 a.m.–1:45 p.m.) in Urbancrest, OH. Start pay ranges from $17.50 to $19.50 per hour, with pay progression after training.

The role involves operating roasting equipment, monitoring process parameters, and ensuring quality and safety during production. Preferences include food manufacturing experience; strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills are required.
• Ability to read and understand production instructions and specifications.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Desire to learn equipment operation and food safety practices.

Mansioni

• Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain roasting equipment during production.
• Monitor product flow, belt speeds, temperatures, and other settings.
• Read production tickets to ensure correct product specs and allergens.
• Inspect products for quality and compliance with standards.
• Learn to identify nuts, seeds, and ingredients and their specs.
• Perform testing, cleaning, and sanitation procedures.
• Follow food safety, GMP, SQF, and company procedures.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Communicate issues to Production Management and Quality Control.
• Help correct issues to protect quality and goals.
• Keep equipment and work area clean and production-ready.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily goals.
