Job summary

MSA Safety in West Chester, PA is hiring a Service Center Technician for the 1st shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Mon–Fri). You will troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair MSA detection or protection products and document service orders in SAP. Prepare products for shipment or customer pickup.

Level I–III experience is welcomed; substitution with relevant repair/Instrumentation experience is possible. Training on MSA products and participation in CARE/RITE/MERIT programs may be provided.

Qualifications

• Must have repair/service experience; levels I-III indicate increasing years of experience.
• Experience with instrumentation or safety products is preferred.
• Substitution of relevant work experience for formal education is allowed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, adjust, calibrate, update or repair MSA detection or protection products.
• Inspect and evaluate products to determine service or repair needs.
• Enter and update service orders in SAP; provide quotes and estimates.
• Prepare products for shipment or customer pickup.
• Provide technical support to customers and internal staff as needed.
