Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a Reclaim Warehouse Team Member in Houston, TX to receive, organize, process, maintain and dispose of unsaleable product. You will help keep our communities fed and support safe, efficient warehouse operations.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts and walker riders, logging items, routing materials, maintaining cleanliness, and following strict safety practices on a 1st shift, full-time basis with benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with OSHA safety requirements and general safety practices.
• Ability to operate a forklift and walker rider and move product weighing up to 60 lbs while standing 10–12 hrs.
• Relevant experience in warehouse or material handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use forklifts and walker riders to load/unload unsaleable product as directed.
• Receive, separate, process, repair or bag leaking product; scan merchandise.
• Maintain logs for donated, resaleable and returned items; flag unauthorized product.
• Keep work area clean and dispose of trash properly.
• Monitor safety and sanitation; report incidents and seek help when needed.
• Check and recharge MHE batteries; complete equipment inspection sheets.
• Perform other duties as assigned; travel not required.

As a Reclaim Warehouse Team Member, you will receive, organize, process, maintain, and dispose of unsaleable product.

• 1st shift FT: Monday-Friday: 7:00 A.M.-3:30 P.M.
• 15515 Woodham Drive. Houston, Texas 77073

You will contribute by:

• Utilize forklifts and walker riders to load/unload unsaleable product shipments as assigned by management
• Receive, separate and process unsaleable products repairing or bagging leaking product when applicable. While utilizing a scanner to process merchandise.
• Maintain a log of items to be donated, considered re-saleable and returned to vendor as assigned by management placing properly processed product into designated areas by vendor. Notifying management of unauthorized product.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area; collect and dispose of all trash properly
• Be alert for all safety and sanitary conditions; correct and/or report each incident to management while exercise proper safety practices to include requesting assistance from teammates when physical demands exceed limits.
• Check and recharge MHE batteries; Complete a Warehouse Equipment Inspection Sheet before operating equipment; maintain cleanliness of equipment.

• Specialized Knowledge : General electrical knowledge. Familiar with safety requirements and OSHA.
• Physical abilities: : Ability to operate a forklift and walker rider. Safely and efficiently move product weighing up to 60 lbs while standing/walking for 10-12 hrs
• 1-2 : Relevant experience.
