Job summary

Nolte Precise Manufacturing seeks a detail-oriented 1st Shift Quality Technician Lead to oversee inspection of CNC parts, verify dimensions, and enforce GD&T specifications. You will guide the inspection workflow, support operators, and drive continuous improvement.

You will lead the calibration program, 5S, and monthly metrics, mentoring technicians and interfacing with customers on certification data. This is a full‑time, on‑site role in Cincinnati, OH.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate and convey information to others.
• Must be able to verify operator and machine performance against production docs and customer specs.
• Advanced blueprint reading and GD&T proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machined parts and record results promptly.
• Prepare non-conforming material reports.
• Operate and program CMM equipment using PC‑DMIS.
• Support operators with quality inquiries and initiatives.
• Lead calibration program and daily 5S standards.
• Mentor junior quality technicians and coordinate with customers on certification packages.
