Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in Tennessee is seeking a 1st Shift Quality Control Technician to support the production line with QA tasks, from downstack to final inspection of polymer concrete components. You will perform tests, audits, log non-conformances, and maintain 5S in the work area, contributing to safety and product quality.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent in a manufacturing setting required.
• Trained to position's training matrix standards.
• Proven attention to detail.
• Basic math skills required.
• Good time management.
• Ability to stand up to 10 hours.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts from production, assembly, and dock.
• Complete process audits daily.
• Perform gel testing, cube compression, load cell tests, and product testing.
• Resin blending and pigmenting while inspecting first articles to specs.
• Label non-conformances with HOLD tags.
• Log non-conformances in QA HOLD log.
• Communicate quality concerns with casting line leads/supervisors.
• Maintain 5S in assigned areas.
• Conduct raw material testing.
