Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a Quality Control Technician to help ensure daily product quality throughout the production process. You will inspect materials, test outputs, and work closely with the Plant Engineer, Sales, and Production teams to maintain quality standards.

This role requires attention to detail, a high school diploma, and QC experience; ACI/PCI certification is preferred or must be obtained within 3 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Quality control experience in related industry preferred.
• ACI / PCI Certification is preferred, or must pass ACI Concrete Field Testing within 3 months.
• Basic computer skills to document results.

Responsibilities

• Perform Pre-Pour inspections on product prior to pouring (Reinforcing, insert and hole locations, etc.)
• Perform Post-Pour inspections on product ensuring it is ready for the customer
• Represent the customer inside our factory
• Test Concrete and raw materials as needed
• Lead QC meetings and follow up on Corrective Actions
• Organize all documentation
• Coordinate with production on all schedule changes and errors
• Assist in conducting QA Audits
• Train plant employees on concrete technology and QC requirements
