Job summary

Anchor Fabrication Fort Worth is seeking a Quality Control & Calibration Technician to calibrate and inspect instruments, maintain records, and support a fast-paced, quality-driven shop environment in Fort Worth, TX. You will coordinate calibration activities, monitor equipment, and contribute to continuous improvement through tests and documentation.

The role requires 4+ years in quality control, strong measurement skills, and the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.

Qualifications

• 4+ years relevant experience in Quality Control.
• Self-directed and motivated during majority of the workday.
• Working knowledge of measurement instruments.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Good arithmetic skills.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• PC, Windows, MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Gage calibration and record keeping activities.
• Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner
• Coordinate calibration of all test equipment and fixtures
• Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and calibration
• Conduct testing and training to ensure the total measurement systems are adequate.
• Ensure the gage library is controlled and maintained.
• Research new gage technology and propose improvements where needed.
• Perform other related duties as instructed

The Quality Control & Calibration Technician is responsible for the calibration, routine inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of instruments, meters, gauges and other testing and measuring equipment. They are highly motivated and have a desire to work in a fast paced, quality centered environment.
