Job summary

Shoals Technologies Group is seeking a Manufacturing Lead to coordinate daily activities of hourly associates in our Tennessee plant. You will set up lines per customer orders, manage part quantities, and communicate safety and quality concerns to leadership.

The role requires at least 1 year of lead experience and 2+ years in an industrial setting. English and Spanish proficiency is valued; hands-on training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of lead experience required.
• 2+ years in an industrial environment required.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities of hourly manufacturing associates.
• Set up production line to customer specifications and ensure proper parts and quantities.
• Communicate safety, quality, and production issues to supervisor or management.
• Coordinate housekeeping and maintain area cleanliness.
• Provide training to new associates and document it.
• Identify delays and work with leaders to address inefficiencies.

By using simple ideas, we are making solar energy a more affordable and clean power source for future generations.Duties:Coordinates, facilitates, and directs the daily activities of hourly manufacturing Associates.Set up the production line to the specification of the customer’s order and work closely with various departments to ensure that parts are manufactured according to customer’s specifications.Makes sure that appropriate parts and quantity of parts are being run according to production schedule.Communicates any safety, quality, and/or production related issues with Supervisor or appropriate management representative.Coordinate housekeeping activities of area.Provides necessary training to new associates and documents said training.Identify, investigate, and resolve delays in the shiftWork with Supervisor and other leaders to identify and address inefficiencies.Other duties as assignedSkills/Abilities:Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
