Job summary

Strategic Materials is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor in Kansas to oversee production operations from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. This role involves leading safety-driven teams, ensuring production targets are met while fostering a high-performing work environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Six Sigma certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance.
• Ensure production targets and schedules are met.
• Balance customer requirements with production efficiency.
• Lead, coach, and develop the team for long-term success.

Skills

Lean manufacturing / process improvement

Troubleshooting 480VAC / 3-phase systems

Mechanical conveyors, motors, pulleys, rigging handling

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel & Word)

Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent (College degree preferred)
