Job summary

Meyer Utility Structures, a subsidiary of Arcosa, Inc., is hiring a 1st Shift Production Operations Supervisor at the Clinton, IL plant. You will oversee daily production, guide welding and fit-up processes, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity targets are met.

You will set schedules, coach staff, manage time sheets, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining adherence to blueprints and layouts for transmission structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (any discipline) preferred.
• 5+ years of leadership in heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with metal fabrication or welding and blueprints.
• Availability for 1st shift 6:00am–4:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations of heavy industrial products.
• Set production schedules based on introduction, efficiency, and quality.
• Coach employees on fit-up and welding processes to meet goals.
• Ensure production at or below budgeted cost and adhere to safety procedures.
• Manage time sheets, train staff, and assign workstations.
• Support continuous improvement to move materials through processes.
• Maintain policy compliance for welding and fit-up across bays.
